TradesFuel was built because nothing existed for the people who actually build this country.
Every supplement brand out there is aimed at gym goers, athletes or office workers looking for an afternoon pick me up. Nobody was building anything honest for tradespeople. The people who are up before sunrise, grafting in all weathers, using their body as a tool every single day.
It started with a conversation with one of my closest friends. He runs a successful window cleaning business and has done for years. I know him well enough to know he is one of the hardest grafters I have ever met. When I asked him how he was doing, the answer was always the same. Wrecked. Up at four or five in the morning, running on coffee, body tired by midday and a mind that would not switch off at night no matter how exhausted he was. Diet was an afterthought. Recovery did not exist. He just got on with it because that is what you do.
That conversation stuck with me.
I come from a sport and personal training background with real experience in supplementation. I know what the right nutrition and the right supplements can do for a body under sustained physical pressure. I also tried plastering once. One shift. My arms almost fell off and I never went back. Hats off to every single tradesperson who does that day in and day out without complaint. That experience alone gave me a whole new level of respect for the trades.
When I looked at what was available for tradespeople specifically, the answer was nothing. Everything out there was built for the gym. Nothing was built for the graft.
So we spoke to more tradespeople. Roofers, bricklayers, electricians, plumbers and plasterers. The same things kept coming up. The 2pm crash. The joints that ache. The mind that races when the shift finally ends. The diet that gets forgotten because there is no time. And the quiet acceptance that this is just how it is.
It does not have to be.
TradesFuel is the stack we built in response to that. Three products that work together to fuel the shift, support the body and help you actually recover overnight. Nothing miraculous. Nothing overclaimed. Just the basics done properly for people who deserve better than what was already out there.
We are a small business. There is no big team behind this, no corporate budget and no investors. Just a genuine belief that tradespeople deserve something built specifically for them. But as the TradesFuel community grows, our formulations will get stronger and more diverse. This is just the beginning.
